Our Mission and Vision
Dr. CGK Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing various services to support women in multiple aspects of their lives. Our target demographic is single mothers residing in any county that makes up the Greater Houston Metropolitan Area looking to improve their quality of life, as well as provide a secure future for themselves and their children. Though these women are faced with the seemingly insurmountable challenges associated with single motherhood, we are dedicated to our mission of bridging the gap between vulnerability and sustainability.
Dr. CGK Foundation recognizes the different variables by which a woman can become a single mom, like divorce, death of a spouse, single-parent adoption, and sometimes sexual assault. Socially and culturally-accepted customs and beliefs can make it difficult for these women. This is why we are laser-focused on our vision to empower marginalized women to achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives. After all, single mothers, like all mothers, are J.E.W.E.L.S. (Just Everyday Women Exceeding Life’s Stereotypes™).
